Elementary Principal
I am honored to serve as the principal of Evergreen Elementary School. With several years in education, I have worked as a teacher, instructional leader, and administrator, always believing that strong relationships are the foundation of student success.
I earned my Master of Education degree from the University of Arkansas and hold certifications in Educational Leadership, Adult Education, Elementary Education and Reading. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students reach their full potential while supporting teachers in creating engaging, high-quality learning experiences.
As principal, my vision is to create a school where every child feels safe, valued, challenged, and inspired to learn. I believe that students thrive when they experience a sense of belonging, encouragement, and joy each day. At Evergreen, I strive to cultivate a positive, joy-filled environment where students, staff, and families feel connected, supported, and empowered to grow. When children are excited to come to school and know they are loved, learning will flourish.
Originally from Arkansas, I moved to Alaska in 2025 and quickly fell in love with the beauty, community, and unique opportunities that make Wrangell such a special place. Outside of school, I enjoy writing, reading, and reflecting on the moments that bring joy and purpose to life.
I am grateful to be part of the Evergreen family and look forward to continuing our work together to ensure every child learns, grows, and experiences joy each day.
